Another successful year for the VOITAS Group lies behind us. For us, 2022 was a year of dynamic growth: we acquired 20 new customers and worked on 30 new projects (we developed a functional wiring system for a customer in Bavaria. After just 3 days, the e-car was already running!), we welcomed 43 new talents to our team (an increase of more than 200%), and we developed and put into production an innovative e-charging solution: The VOITAS Wallbox. We also opened two new offices in Wolfsburg and Gliwice. In 2022, we also focused on developing our competencies. The automotive industry is changing before our eyes and we are striving to stay one step ahead of these changes. To this end, we offer services in future technologies – for example, the development of automotive software, autonomous driving or V2E (Vehicle-to-Everything). Among other things, we have acquired expertise in software development in the CODESYS environment for electric trucks and completed projects for well-known automotive brands that work according to ASPICE and AUTOSAR standards. As a special highlight, last year we received a grant from the German Ministry of Finance to further develop our own e-mobility products. In October, we won first prize at a pitch event for the best regional and most attractive business idea for investment. The event is hosted annually by a member of the German Bundestag. We look forward to expanding our network of potential partners together with Dr. Brandl in Berlin.
Last year, we took part in many industry events, such as Bits & Pretzels in Munich, the 23rd Cooperation Forum Wiring Systems Ingolstadt, the eMove360° Future Mobility Conference 2022, the 10th anniversary of the Automotive Wire Harness Community and WIKOIN 2022 at Ingolstadt Technical University. In 2022, we also became the official sponsor of the student teams Formula Student – Schanzer Racing in Ingolstadt and PUT Motorsport in Poznan. We also organized many thematic workshops in our company, e.g. in the areas of project management, marketing and HR, consulting and licensing as well as strategic management. In addition, we had a lot of fun together at various team-building events in the AREA 47 amusement park, canoeing in the forests and fields surrounding Wielkopolska or playing board games together. We are heading into 2023 with optimism and openness to further development opportunities!
